“A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.”  - Nelson Mandela

I have walked past this sculpture of Atlas for many years and only now getting to understand what it could mean to feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. So many millions of people out of work yet still needing to provide for their families and communities. My grandfather had a simple phrase that helps to lighten the load when I am overcome with anxiety and pressure;  #ThisTooShallPass

“Of all the arts, movies are the most powerful aid to empathy, and good ones make us into better people.” - Roger Ebert

“We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”  - Martin Luther King Jr.

Knowing the importance of unity, especially through uncertain times, this photo represents more than a story of two brothers that had a dream. While being there for each other, like my own brother has always been there for me, we need to dive deeper into this snapshot of history- a time capsule of 5 row houses built in 1868 that often go unnoticed, as modern life builds up around them. And we, as a collective global community, will survive this pandemic and come out stronger than before.
